Tanda Teaser #130

This week's Tanda Teaser is 'A Touch of Lace'. My stamp is a Penny Black that I've wanted for ages and finally got at the NEC in November. It's been coloured with Inktense pencils and edged with Cranberry Adirondack ink. The bp is from a Crafters Companions cd - Florals I think and the lace from my stash. The plate with the sentiment (a Hobby Art stamp) is done using my Nesties ovals and I have to tell you - I am sooo peeved. I have lost the scalloped oval this size somewhere - I have spent so long looking for it I have decided it most have gone in the bin. Most annoying is the fact that it's the ideal size for so many sentiment stamps. This one was one I had cut earlier and was white so I coloured it with the Cranberry ink. Rant over!
It's finished off with a black peel off.
Thank you for visiting.

Adore this one Beryl, also a stamp I have and am longing for lol. Just a pity PB stamps are so expensive! Exellent card! Crikey thats a pity about your nestie shape. I did the same with a small pack of WOJ stamps. Emptied two full bins of rubbish but I found them. Luckily it was the day before the rubbish men came!

Hi Beryl - this is such a fabulous girly card, which really made me smile! Beautiful colouring and a lovely layout.
How annoying to lose one of your Nesties. There were some magnetic sheets on Create & Craft a couple of days ago, for storing Nesties, and I am really tempted - the Nestie packaging is not very good once you've removed the dies. Maybe something else for the crafty wishlist!!

oh Beryl so sorry about your missing nestie - that's something I dread doing. I try to put them straight back on magnetic paper but it's so easy to throw the waste bit into the bin with the nestie still stuck in it. I feel for you I really do.
The card is gorgeous though and maybe the nestie will turn up you never know. Found one of my mats in a 12" x 12" paper box ??

Oh Beryl, what a shame about the missing oval die. It's infuriating isn't it? If you don't have anyone nearby who has that set give me a shout and I'll cut some more for you in white and post them to you and you can ink them in your colour choice. I'm fairly sure mine is the same oval set.

Love the card BTW and that little corner embellishment (peeloff?) is lovely.

Beryl, what a lovely card. Sorry to hear about your missing Nestie. It's so annoying when you lose something. I spent hours and hours last summer looking for a Personal Impressions clear owl stamp I'd lost (needless to say I bought the set for this stamp) but I had to come to the conclusion it's flown to the landfill tip!!! Hope you find your Nestie. Take care, Kym xxx

Great card Beryl, that is a fun stamp! Sorry to hear about your nestie...I keep mine in CD cases, but can see that they are very easy to lose.
Thanks for joining in with our teaser this week!

This is such an adorable image! Love how you've coloured it and your inked edging. I do hope that you find your scalloped oval. I hope that it hasn't fallen in the bin but will turn up when you least expect it. Most times I can't see things which are right in front of my nose! So ... follow your nose! kxx
