Fantasy Stampers Challenge - Silhouettes

I'm hoping I get this posted in time before the current Fantasy Stampers challenge entry time is up.
This time the theme is 'Silhouettes'. I stamped the Ingdgo Blue stamp with Versafine Imperial Purple and used Squeezed Lemonade and Shaded Lilac DI for the background. The 'lace' mat is a Martha Stewart around the page punch, punched from white card and coloured with a Spectrum Noir. I was really pleased with how it all toned in - and then out came the camera! The purple Spectrum Noir looks blue and the Imperial Purple almost has a pink tinge to it. Maybe when the light gets round the front I'll take another and see if that improves it. The ribbon is from my stash, the leaves a Cheery Lynn die and the flower I made myself - in a rush as I'm off to the dentists in a min. Fortunately it's not stuck down so I can come back and try to make a better one to replace it.
Thank you for visiting today.

Springs Greens

I haven't any snow drops in this garden but I'm hoping to put that right at some time. I know it's best to lift some from someone's garden while they are 'in the green' but haven't found a suitable donor yet. I'm entering this card into the Fantasy Stampers challenge #5 - Spring Colours.
I have used a Sheena Douglass stamp from her Little Bit Sketchy range and coloured it with a mixture of Inktense pencils and Lyra water colour crayons.
The background is a piece of brayered glossy cardstock that has been on my desk (or thereabouts) since before I moved here two years ago. The ribbon is from my stash and the bp is from a Card Creations Flowers in Bloom CD. The greeting I printed from Craft Artist.
Thsnk you for visiting today.

New Home Card

I'm entering this card into the 3rd Fantasy Stampers Challenge which has the theme 'love and cherish'. Now I don't 'do' Valentine cards - for obvious reasons if you know me, so I hope this card qualifies in as much as I hope my daughter will love and cherish the home she is moving into today.
At long last I have got my mitts on the brick background stamp from Impression Obsession and have used Rusty Hinge DI to stamp it. The little words were computer generated and the flowers from my stash. For the die cut swirls I used a piece of mirror card coloured with alcohol inks. One less snippet in the box!
The main image is a Clarity stamp coloured with Promarkers and cut out with an Xcut heart.
Thanks very much for visiting today. I'm off shortly to help with the move. I may be gone sometime!

Fantasy Stampers Challenge - Anything With Wings

I missed the very first challenge from the New Fantasy Stampers blog and was determined to make it for this one - which is 'Anything With Wings'. I have used one of my many Elusive Images (now Chocolate Baroque) stamps. I used a very pale turquoise Spectrum Noir for the background and coloured the rest of the image in with a selection of oranges and greens.
I also coloured the flowers (from my stash) with the same colour pens. The bp is from a Graphicus Guild pack. I rarely use it as it's too strokable - but this piece had been cut into already so I didn't feel so guilty. I overstamped the paper with another butterfly from the same set and some Distress inks - Marigold and Wild Honey. Corner dies are La La Land, and the leaves from a Heartfelt Creations set.
Thank you for visiting today.
