Rainbow Lady's Challenge 197

This card I'm entering into Rainbow Lady's challenge - House And Home. It's the first chance I've had to use this stamp set by Chocolate Baroque - even though I've had it ages. The image is coloured with Pro Markers and the bp is from a K and Co. paper pad. The sentiment is from a Rubbadubbadoo set and the lattice is a Cuttlebug die.Oh - and I used my new nesties (Wonky Squares) which I got at the NEC on Saturday. So - today I've finished off one card, done a little gardening and made another card with no interruptions. Things are looking up I think.
Thanks very much for visiting today.

Spring Has Sprung - hasn't it just...

This card is an 8 x 8 and I'm entering it into this weeks CD Sunday Challenge - Spring Has Sprung.
The shoe image is from the Shoes in Bloom cd, as is the backing paper. The 'phlox' flowers I punched from a sheet of the matching insert paper that comes with the design.
I used a Martha Stewart border butterfly punch for the strip and the bottom and a Martha Stewart Monarch butterfly punch - using the same paper as the flowers. The swirls are a Marianne die.
Thanks very much for visiting today. I hope you are all enjoying this glorious weather.

The CD Sunday Challenge - Spots and Dots

Phew -where's this week gone? Just made it by he skin of my teeth for The CD Sunday challenge - Spots and Dots. Last chance for me as I'm of to the NEC tomorrow.
The topper was made from MCS Fab Glam Fifties and the bp is from the same CD - colour changed to match the topper.I punched the corners to let the silver grey paper behind show through a bit. The metallic card candy is part of some crafty stash sent to me by my friend in the States - Martha. Still having trouble getting my mojo in gear - it's like starting over again after such a lengthy break
Thanks for visiting today and have a great weekend.

A New Start

Well - here I am settled in my new home and coming to terms with my new status in life. It's been an unsettling couple of years since the house went on the market and it's taken me a while to get my life back on track. I have my very own craft room now but as yet - haven't been in the right frame of my to use it. As part of my 'therapy' I'm setting myself at least one new challenge every week. This week my main challenge is to enter a card challenge and this weeks one on The CD Sunday Challenge seemed perfect. It's called Me to You and as this card was made from the Me to You CD it seems to fit the bill. The main image and the bp is from the Me to You CD and the parcels I found on the Craft Artist CD.
Things seemed to have changed on Blogger since I last used it so I'll have to catch up on all the changes as I go along.
Thank you for visiting today. It's nice to be back.
