I'm entering this card into two challenges - Rainbow Lady's challenge - which this week is 'Edge It' and the
Bah Humbug challenge - which this week is 'Lovely in Lilac'.
The 'edging' is the mat made with a Martha Stewart punch and this has been layered onto a piece that I made a while ago - swirls and glimmer mists - but I can't remember which colours I used. The fairy and sentiment are Crafters Companion and the flower is from my stash - coloured with Pro Markers - as was the fairy. I coloured the fairy's wings with a clear Stardust pen. The piece behind the fairy has been spritzed with a lilac mica spray - there are some snowflakes there too - stamped and embossed with crystal embossing powder but you can't see them very well. The flower and the Martha Stewart mat have been sprayed with glitter spray.
Tip:- This is my second fairy. The first one I coloured with cosmic shimmers and then sprayed once it was well dried with glitter spray. Not a good idea. The spray seemed to activate the cosmic shimmers and it all got a bit blurry.

Beryl, this is just gorgeous! The punched background is perfectly done (I always have a hard time lining it all up), the shimmer and shine are really pretty. My grand daughters would love your little fairy too. She is sweet.

I do the same with Glimmer Misted pieces, by the time I use them have totally forgotten the mix. Thing is it's impossible to guess as you never get the same finish twice.
