Acetate, acetate and more acetate.

I was really struggling with the 'Aceate' challenge from Bah Humbug this week. I know a lot of people love it but I'm not really a fan. The first idea I had was to make a frame from a Wizard snowflake die and gold leaf the back. It looked rubbish. Eventually after being uninspired since last Friday I remembered that I had some window cards from Creative Expressions. So, ACETATE in the window frame, a snowman stamped onto ACETATE, cut out and glittered on the back and a leafy corner from MCS printed onto ACETATE and cut round. Phew - I think that's my acetate fix for the rest of the year. The scene behind the window is from a Crafters Companion cd and the little mice were stamped with Memento ink, coloured with Promarkers and placed in the scene.
Thanks very much for visiting today.

Well considering you say you don't like acetate ... I think you have done a fabulous job. I particularly like the MCS bit ... brilliant.

I'm with you on this Beryl, it's not my cup of tea either. However, having said that I do love what others manage to do with it and what you've done here is absolutely magical, right out of a Christmas story!

That's quite enough, Beryl! Don't you know you can OD on acetate?

Lovely card and well worth the persistence - have a lie down now!

Hi Beryl

This is scary, Christmas cards - I thought we made them in December in a sheer panick ?

Kow just what you mean about acetate, always has a mind of it's own, but this one has worked out really well.
